In Windows Server 2008 this is not possible by  default. If you login with the same user account the first session will  be taken over by second session.<\/p>\n<p>But you can allow multiple Remote Desktop sessions per user by changing a registry key.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Start regedit<\/li>\n<li>Check out the follwoing registry key<br \/>\n<strong>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\System\\CurrentControlSet\\Control\\TerminalServer<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>If the <strong>fSingleSessionPerUser<\/strong> value doesn\u2019t exist, create a new DWORD value named <strong>fSingleSessionPerUser<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Open the <strong>fSingleSessionPerUser<\/strong> value.
