The DHCP server automatically\u00a0distributes IP for network interfaces and devices. When somebody sends a request for IP, instead of a network administrator, DHCP server distributes IP address, based on the DHCP server configurations. Here\u2019s how to install DHCP Server on windows server no problem if you\u2019re using windows server 2012 or 2012 R2 or 2016, it works on all the windows server above windows server 2008. Hope you enjoy it.<\/p>\n<h2>Install DHCP Server on Windows Server 2016<\/h2>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Before installing the DHCP server role on your computer, you need to assign a static IP address on your server. For the purpose right-click on the <span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-115\" class=\"ezoic-adpicker-ad\" data-ezadpicker=\"115\" data-ez-position-type=\"under_first_paragraph\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"crt-21\" class=\"ezflad-47\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Network icon<\/strong> on the <strong>Desktop<\/strong>. and select\u00a0<strong>Properties<\/strong>.
