The following screen is the disk starting to form mirroring. There are yellow alert on Disk 1 since the mirroring is not complete.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"clip_image002[15]\" alt=\"clip_image002[15]\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/99IMjqiDDHh_JVAik0Z1kE3Oxl6OwCwycgHGOeUVNKBlaDXCkpB96G0_hXYo0CUfApZXyIfX5M5rE33a3rl_dWTMzWqbeXKsSqaQKNPMJG1O28L7f_xD92NorQWwyUDo4Cc\" width=\"624px;\" height=\"469px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">When the mirroring is complete, you will the Disk Management like the following:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"clip_image002[17]\" alt=\"clip_image002[17]\" src=\"https:\/\/lh6.googleusercontent.com\/VWLqHtJWDCRzi0ziRBpQbODFUt7u1oU9mrR0DKEOmn9R8r5ZZVK36xoHVgEWjeKOqAoFbhIIyW6wjVH7ruTdNgdk3wfw5zX-YTOZ4sTTb0dgMHsr_zdI6SYc_gjbTxB176c\" width=\"624px;\" height=\"468px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">How to boot into Windows if the Disk 0 is fail?<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In the boot menu, select \u201cWindows Server 2008 R2 \u2013 secondary plex\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"clip_image002[19]\" alt=\"clip_image002[19]\" src=\"https:\/\/lh5.googleusercontent.com\/-E03JzUjELDuJrnVLHUaqSE60ZHI_XyFHOXj-ZBDnj76is5peEZ72DrxHztTdde19H6swB76D5jFq6yJh8SH0cAe1aKcQ4xJuzLlP67JT9TNN3YZMzADUy-ymRmHCsEjNCI\" width=\"560px;\" height=\"421px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Remark: Since this is a software RAID, please do not use this setup for the mission critical system. (Use this setup for your own risk)<\/p>\n<p>If one of the RAID disks is dead, you will need to use the BCDEdit tool to remove the faulty reference to the Secondary Plex as follow:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BCDEdit \/enum<\/strong>\u00a0(to show all the GUIDs of your disks)<\/li>\n<li><strong>BCDEdit \/delete &#8220;GUID&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Please start the CMD in admin mode.<\/p>\n<p>To rename other OS use command:\u00a0<b>bcdedit \/enum<\/b>\u00a0to see the list and for example:<br \/>\n<b>bcdedit \/set {ntldr} description &#8220;Windows Server 2008 R2&#8221;\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Step 1: Open the \u201cServer Manager\u201d -&gt; Storage -&gt; Disk Management Step 2: Select the \u201cSystem Reserved\u201d volume Step 3: Right click on \u201cSystem Reserved\u201d volume and select \u201cAdd Mirror\u2026\u201d Step 4: Press \u201cYes\u201d to start the disk conversion and mirroring.
