It usually goes something like \u201cWarning: You are logging onto our computer system. We own your soul.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Removing this message isn\u2019t all that difficult, but you will need administrator access to your system.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn3.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/image7.png\" width=\"468\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Manual Registry Method<\/p>\n<p>Open up regedit.exe through the run box, and then browse down to the following key:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\Windows NT\\CurrentVersion\\Winlogon<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn3.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/10\/image8.png\" width=\"526\" height=\"224\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the right-hand side, find the keys for LegalNoticeCaption and LegalNoticeText and either set both values to blank or just delete them.<\/p>\n<p>Note: If the administrator has set these values through group policy, I believe they will be re-applied automatically by the system at some point.
