It gets extremely annoying to have to turn it on every single time you sign on your computer. There is a very simple way to enable the Num Lock key so it never turns off (no matter what) and here it is.<\/p>\n<p>First, click on your Windows Start Button and click on Run, type in \u201cregedit\u201d to enter the registry and click the \u201cOK\u201d button.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Run\" src=\"http:\/\/onlineitpro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/run.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This will open up the registry editor. Now in the navigation menu on the left side, Navigate (expand all the folders) to <strong>HKEY_CURRENT_USER \\Control Panel\\Keyboard<\/strong>. (Make sure you have clicked on the Keyboard folder)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Registry Editor Console\" src=\"http:\/\/onlineitpro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/numlockon.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Double click on the <strong>InitialKeyboardIndicators<\/strong> entry and change the \u201cValue Data\u201d field to 2 and now click the \u201cOK\u201d button.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Edit Registry Key\" src=\"http:\/\/onlineitpro.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/12\/editkey.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can now close the registry editor.
